Digger is one of the most brave and interesting films I have ever seen. The film starring Tom Cruise and directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu is a film that can't be explained. Watching this for the first time felt like I was on a rollercoaster. Watching this film takes you on a ride that you are not prepared for. It's like going on the tallest roller coaster in the world when you're expecting to go on the merry go round. Digger delivers that feeling to the audience and takes you on a ride you'll never forget.

Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell gives one of the best performances of his career. There are multiple scenes where you forget that is Tom Cruise and just immerse yourself in the character that is Digger Rockwell. Cruise is not the only one who gives a standout performance. John Goodman and Riz Ahmed both knock it out of the park in their roles. The performances are a mere reminder of how excellent acting can enhance how great a movie is. There is one scene where Cruise gives this fantastic monologue that completely immerses you in a film. The scene leaves you on the edge of your seat and leaves you speechless. Digger Rockwell is one of the most fascinating characters in cinema in years and Tom Cruise's performance is a big reason why.

Alejandro G. Inarritu is known as a filmmaker that likes to take chances and not play it safe. Digger is a reminder of Inarritu's bravery as a filmmaker. Inarritu does not play it safe and actually makes a movie that will not be loved by everyone. The genius of Inarritu is that he does this on purpose. Digger will not be a movie that is loved by everyone. It will be a film that will be remembered as a classic though, only time will tell when that will be. But, for now Digger is a film that has to be digested.

Digger is a film that will go down in history as a film that challenges people to think outside of the box. It's not a movie where you can just sit down and turn your brain off. The film makes you think about a lot of things. It makes you think about society and how we consume entertainment. Digger is a film that takes a risk. It's not a film that plays it safe at all. This will alienate some movie goers. The film will be divisive. Some people will love it and some people will hate it. Some people will be connected to it and some people will feel disconnected. But, there's a genius to this film regardless of what side you're on. The audience will be talking about Digger for years to come.

Digger is a film that will be talked about for years. There's a certain buzz that comes with a film like this. Even though Digger is projected to have a horrible opening weekend of $10 million, I have a feeling this film won't see its shine until years after its release. It's because people don't understand it. It's not the film that was marketed to us in the trailers. There are twists and turns that will leave you speechless. Forget all the trailers that were shown about this film because it is completely different that what the marketing is. I don't know if that's a great decision business wise but being completely fooled was actually a welcome change. I walked in the theater expecting something and got a completely different film. I loved every single moment of this film and how it made me feel. Digger is a film that takes a huge risk and I have nothing but appreciation that a film like this with a huge movie star and equally huge director were able to make a big budget film that takes a chance and doesn't play it safe. For me, Digger is a film that reminds me why I love movies and for that I am grateful.
