The final Halloween Kills trailer shows Michael Myers is back and deadlier than ever. If you remember at the end of Halloween, Laurie Strode seemed to kill Michael by burning the house. Michael did not die in that fire and seems to be deadlier than ever. Everyone in Michael's path seems to be in danger. The trailer reveals Michael is on a straight path to his childhood home. What could be at his childhood home?
Halloween Kills is the latest film in the Halloween franchise. We already know it won't be the last film in the franchise with Halloween Ends releasing in 2022. This film is sure to be filled with scares that will make your spine tingle and violence that will make you want to look away from the screen. With Halloween Ends releasing in 2022, Michael Myers will not die in this film. But will Michael kill someone important to Laurie? In the trailer Laurie's daughter Karen is seen shouting at Michael "if you want to kill someone, kill me." Michael killing someone important to Laurie is a necessary moment for this film because we already know Michael's fate at the end of this film. We already know Laurie will survive at the end of the film as well. Killing someone important to Laurie like her daughter Karen or her granddaughter Allyson will bring emotional weight to the film. It will also set up the next film quite well. It will be a Laurie Strode revenge story knowing she has to kill Michael or die trying. Whatever happens in the film, the viewer knows there in for a wild ride.
Halloween Kills stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, and Anthony Michael Hall. The film will be directed by David Gordon Green who directed the previous film in the franchise. Halloween Kills releases on October 15th in theaters and streaming on Peacock.
