Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most iconic actors in Hollywood today. His filmography is what most actors and actresses dream of. From movies like Inception to Once Upon A Time in Hollywood to The Departed, DiCaprio's filmography is a wide range of classic movies that movie lovers will watch forever. With such a prestigious filmography, it is only right to count down DiCaprio's top 10 films.

10) Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)

We start this list with Leo's latest film Killers of the Flower Moon. In the film, Leo plays a villain for only the second time in his career. Set in the 1920s, the film follows the Osage murders that shook up the United States. The film also stars Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro, and Jesse Plemons. The film is directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese.

9) The Aviator (2004)

Again directed by Martin Scorsese, The Aviator is the true story of Howard Hughes who is played by Di Caprio. In this film, we see the rise and fall of Howard Hughes and how he became a pioneer in Hollywood and aviation. Di Caprio gives one of his finest performances as Hughes. The film also stars Cate Blanchett, John C. Reilly, and Kate Beckinsale.

8) Shutter Island (2010)

There is a common theme with this list. Martin Scorsese has again directed another film. Shutter Island stars Di Caprio as U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels who is sent to a prison with his partner Mark Ruffalo to investigate how a woman broke out. Shutter Island is the most suspenseful film on this list and will leave you on the edge of your seat with an ending that will blow your mind.

7) Titanic (1997)

Arguably Di Caprio's most iconic role, Titanic tells the story of Jack and Rose. Titanic takes the viewer on a journey of love and tragedy. Di Caprio and co star Kate Winslet have excellent chemistry in the film and are the reason why the film is so great. The film will make you have ever emotion possible and the ending will leave you in tears.

6) The Revenant (2015)

The film that finally got Leo his Oscar for best actor. The Revenant stars Leonardo Di Caprio as Hugh Glass. This film is based on a true story of Glass as he was left alone after being mauled by a bear by members of his hunting team. Di Caprio gives his grittiest performance in this film as he had to brave the real life elements and do things in film that he never had to do before. The Revenant will knock you off your seat.

5) Catch Me If You Can (2002)

Directed by Steven Spielberg, Catch Me If You Can follows the true story of Frank Abignale played by Di Caprio and how he scammed people using his charm and how he created a life because of it. Alongside Di Caprio is the legendary Tom Hanks who is trying to track down Abignale. This film is a fun cat and mouse type of film. It is a fun watch and makes you wonder how this actually happened.

4) Inception (2010)

Inception is the most complicated movie on this list. Some people after 15 years still don't understand what the film is. They can't comprehend the meaning behind the film. Directed by Christopher Nolan, Inception follows Cobb, a man who goes into dreams to steal information from corporations. Once you understand the film, Inception becomes an amazing watch. It will leave you on the edge of your seat and you will start to wonder how a film like this is even possible.

3) The Departed (2006)

There's not much to say about The Departed except that it is an awesome film. The film stars Matt Damon, Leonardo Di Caprio, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin, and Vera Farmiga. This film is a ride movie lovers will never forget and will enjoy watching for years to come.

2) Django Unchained (2012)

Django Unchained is a film unlike any of the others on this list. It's a side of Leo that we have never seen before and will probably never see again. Leo plays despicable Calvin Candie, a slave owner who owns the wife of the protagonist Django played by Jamie Foxx. This film is directed by Quentin Tarantino and that is why it is so unique but fantastic at the same time.

1) The Wolf of Wall Street

Was there really any other choice? The Wolf of Wall Street is not only Leonardo DiCaprio's best film. It is one of the best films of 21st century. The film follows stockbroker Jordan Belfor played by Di Caprio and the rise and fall of Stratton Oakmont. The film is a chaotic wild ride that will keep you entertained throughout the long runtime. In my opinion, this is Di Caprio's best performance. He should have won the Oscar for this role. To be able to take a real person like Jordan Belfort and to create what we saw on screen was truly remarkable. That is why it's his best film.
